 Winter in Brisbane, I did not even think of bringing a swimsuit. Although most people would go into the water anyway and find it refreshing, I can only imagine having the opposite experience. I didn't want to rule out the idea of still enjoying a day at the beach so we packed a picnic basket of weekend market fresh goodies (Haloumi wraps, mini pastries, and ginger beer) and set on our way to Coolum & Noosa beach. I threw together a old Wilfred low arm fringe top, matching bra (mimicked a bathing top) and cute floral shorts.

A few of my favorite things. A lazy afternoon reading Aus Harpers Bazaar Sept collections, Bundaburg ginger beer, and a beautiful sunny day outside. The collections showcase all the trends from the upcoming f/w season. Some of which are very interesting and looking forward to seeing some unique adaptations out there (more 70s, leather and dominatrix!).  Traveling out of a suitcase has limited me to more practical walking shoes. I've recently purchased several pairs of greyish suede shoes, only realizing from this photo I must be drawn to the color and soft texture for the upcoming fall season. With leather as an upcoming trend, suede shoes will help break up a leather dominating outfit.
